Northwest 85, Lincoln 55

Northwest women's basketball put together a dominant performance on their home floor in an 85-55 win over Lincoln Saturday afternoon.

The Bearcats (2-2) led by six at the end of the first quarter, but broke the game open with a 16-6 run to end the first half.

Northwest was on top 42-19 at halftime, and Lincoln never got closer than 20 points the rest of the way.

As a team, the 'Cats shot 57-percent from the field and 58-percent from three-point range, and five scorers reached double figures.

Emma Atwood paced Northwest with 16 points and four rebounds.

Kylie Coleman added 14 points while hitting 4-5 on three-point attempts. Molly Hartnett put up 12 points, five assists and four rebounds. Mallory McConkey and Mia Stillman rounded out the double-digit scorers with 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The Bearcats are on the road Thursday for an exhibition against Drake. Tip off is set for 6pm. Pregame on KXCV 90.5 and KRNW 88.9 begins at 5:30pm.
